The compostable cling film can be used for all kinds of foods, including those with high fat and acid content, which is not always the case dor traditional cling film.

Silvex's bioplastic cling film is certified as compostable according to the European standart EN13432 and can be dispossed together with organic waste after use. The new bioplastic cling film reduces emissions of greenhouse gases and consumption of non-renewable resources, and thus completes a virtuous circle: raw materials fom agriculture origin return to soil through composting and biodegradation without releasing pollutants.

Bioplastic cling film provides excellent protection for food against microorganisms and rapid deterioration because it prevents/restricts the food from exposure to moisture and oxygen. The film seal also provides a high odour barries preventing transmission to other foods.

The most striking feature that has been achieved is the high water vapour transmission rate which ensures that many types of foods stay fresh longer in the refrigerator without being destroyed.
