Avoid untidiness
Have you ever thought about the time you spend tidying what is out of place? There is a simpler way to avoid it: designating a space for each object and returning it when done with it. This avoids the hours we spend looking for our keys or glasses or even putting away clothes that accumulate on our bedroom chair. Teach your children to be tidy. Don’t let them play with a new toy if they haven’t put away the old one. Teach them to clean Do you put away your children’s toys, their coats and jackets, separate dirty laundry and make their beds? Well, try and involve everyone in domestic tasks showing them that if everyone helps out it is not as hard on the rest of them and everyone is happy. Teach your children that dirty laundry goes in the washing machine and the clean clothes in the draws and show them how to make their beds. Nevertheless, don’t underestimate their work and don’t forget that they are learning, so don’t discourage them by making them feel that they’ve done a bad job. Take some time for family and friends We have to have enough time for personal relationships and socialising. Often these moments give a sense of purpose for our day and give us the strength to face another day. Plan a family or friends’ dinner as often as possible. Go to the movies, take a stroll on the weekend, have fun. Take some time for yourself Mothers usually put themselves in last place on their list of priorities. Take care of yourself: go to the gym, visit a museum, have coffee with your friends, take up a hobby. Plan with your partner to go out once a week just the two of you. Is it also important that you have some time to yourselves. Have you ever thought about the time you spend tidying what is out of place?
